By placing a booking you are deemed to have read, understood and accepted the following terms and conditions.

Hypawactive Dogs follows the LIMA way of training (Least Invasive, Minimally Aversive) that seeks to minimise discomfort and stress to the dog. 

Under no circumstances will any harsh or cruel treatment of any dog be tolerated. This includes but is not limited to actions such as: hitting, shouting, biting, scruffing, rubbing muzzles in excrement, “alpha” rolling, hanging by the collar, or causing any unnecessary stress and suffering. Any of these actions will cause your session to be terminated immediately without a refund. 

Client Information

What to Bring

For all sessions please bring or provide the following for your dog:

  • Food Rewards - Please bring a lot more than you think as we will go through a lot during a session (no matter the service).
  • A well fitted flat collar, martingale collar or harness.
  • A lead – no extentable/flexi leads
  • A Toy that your dog really enjoys playing with.
  • Poo Bags

All dogs must have an ID tag or collar stating their owners details.

Hypawactive Dogs does not judge the use training tools but will work with clients to reduce their need to rely on tools to help build a more positive relationship with their dog.

Dogs should be on lead at all times unless instructed otherwise by a trainer.

Vaccinations

Hypawactive Dogs asks that all dogs be fully vaccinated, flead, wormed and microchipped. 

Children

All children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult (and if training they should also be accompanied by the legal owner of the dog).

All children are the sole responsibility of their parent or guardian. Clients should inform their trainer prior to their session if bringing additional people.

Disability and Health conditions  

If you have a disability or health condition and need any adaptations/accommodations to make the training accessible for you, please let your trainer know prior to your session, so that these can be put in place.

Clothing

Behaviour and 1-2-1 sessions will likely be outdoors, so clients should dress themselves accordingly and consider their dog’s comfort. If your dog has a coat in the winter months or a cooling coat in summer please bring them if needed. 

Please wear appropriate footwear for training.

Videos and Photographs

During training session videos and photographs may be taken for training, promotion and social media purposes.

If you do not wish any to be taken or used, please email your trainer prior to your session.

Payment

Payment for group classes is for the stated number of consecutive weeks, non-attendance will result in a loss of that week (unless the class is cancelled by Hypawactive Dogs, in which case a new date will be added to the end of the course - non-attendance of the alternative date will result in loss of that week).

Full payment and the necessary forms must be completed at least 48 hours prior to the start of the first session. If you are paying for a discounted block of sessions you must pay for all sessions in full before the first commences, unless a payment plan has been agreed. Payment should be paid via Bank Transfer.

An email will be sent out prior to the course start date, asking you to confirm your requested place. Receipt of your return email and payment will confirm your place on the course. 

Payments for courses are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Cancellation

Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours in advance. All sessions (including behaviour consultations and training walks) cancelled 48 hours or more in advance will receive a full refund, or the opportunity to move the session to an alternate time with no additional fees. Sessions cancelled without 48 hours notice will not be refunded. If a client does not turn up to a session a refund will also not be issued. In the event of emergency situations like severe weather conditions, natural disasters, or personal emergencies, the cancellation policy may be waived at the discretion of the trainer.

In the unlikely event that Hypawactive Dogs has to cancel a session due to unforeseen circumstances, they will give the client as much notice as possible and reschedule the session at a time that is convenient for both parties (for group classes an alternative date will be provided at the end of the block).

Hypawactive Dogs reserves the right to change the content, timing, date, venue, consultations, training walks, group or 1-2-1 sessions in order to provide a high quality service or where it is necessary for reasons beyond our control.

Females in season

If a clients dog comes into season then Hypawactive Dogs asks that they inform their trainer. A female in season can not attend group classes however 1-2-1 sessions and training walks may still be able to take place in a low risk environment such as the home or secure field.

Group Classes

Upon arrival to group classes clients are expected to keep their dogs in their vehicle, until instructed to get them out by a trainer. 

Once out of your vehicle all dogs MUST be on a lead, at all times, unless otherwise instructed.

Disclaimer

Hypawactive Dogs cannot make any guarantees regarding training, as every dog is an individual and it is down to the work that you, the owner, put into your dog in your own time.

Animal aggression can cause injury, including fatal injury, to other animals and people. Treatment for aggression is not a guarantee  and modifying behaviour does not assure that the aggression will be successfully controlled. It is the owners responsibility to ensure that their dog does not harm in the future. This includes but is not limited to, keeping a dog on lead, the use of a muzzle, informing others of the dog’s aggressive tendencies, not mixing with certain types of people or other dogs. 

Owners remain responsible for their dogs at all times and are advised that they have adequate pet or household insurance cover for liability in the event of damage or injury caused by their dog to property or to a third party. 

Hypawactive Dogs accepts no responsibility for injury or damage to property during training sessions. You agree to assume full responsibility for any risks, injuries or damages, which might occur. You understand and accept that your dog (and its behaviour) remains entirely your responsibility at all times, whether or not in the presence of the trainer/ behaviourist.

Hypawactive Dogs accepts no responsibility for injury to you or your dog.
